Hotel Capitán Suizo - Tamarindo
Stretched along the wide golden expanse of Playa Tamarindo in the center of Costa Rica's famed Pacific beach, Hotel Capitán Suizo epitomizes the laid-back charm of this seaside community. Hotel Capitán Suizo offers the ideal beach retreat. The centerpiece of Capitán Suizo is a large free-form swimming pool surrounded by glorious gardens. A sanctuary of nature, bands of Howler Monkeys are frequent visitors and a variety of birds will share the breakfast buffet in the open air restaurant.
Hotel Capitan Suizo consists of 8 thatched-roof bungalows and 22 rooms, each spacious and comfortable, with a patio or balcony. Bungalows and rooms feature a mezzanine bedroom with king-size bed, and sliding doors that open to a tropical garden. Private bathrooms include enclosed shower and deep bathtub with window view. Bedroom closets have wicker-mesh to let clothing breathe. Decor of natural stone floors harmonize with red hardwood trim, offset by sofas of greenish-blue.
The bungalows and all of the rooms on the second floor are built in such a way that air conditioning is not needed. Rooms on the first floor have a/c. Each unit is equipped with a telephone, an FM/AM radio, a safety box and a small refrigerator.
