Costa Rica offers two main seasons:
1- The dry season, sunniest season, that goes from de second half of November to the end of April.
2- The green season, where the rains begin, everything turns green, that goes from May to the first half of November. During this green season, the standard behaviour is a sunny morning, showers in the afternoon and a clear night.

It is important to know that during the green season is where you will find the best deals and promotions.

No, not always rain in the rainforest. The months of January, February and March are very dry months and it won´t rain at all in many days in a row.

In Costa Rica animals are free on their habitats, there is no guarantee to see animals. Possibilities are very high because there are many protected forests and the biodiversity is very high. There are animals that are easier to spot, like the howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, or sloths, also the coati mundis or the agoutis, all very impressive. In Costa Rica you will learn to enjoy the beauty of many other animals like: insects, spiders, birds, caterpillars etc. But there is no guarantee, they live freely and to see them they have to cross our paths.

27% of the territory is protected under a National Park or Private Reserve.
