Reservation Policy

Hotel Belmar: By sending your credit card information you are accepting our reservation and cancellation policies. Your card will be used to guarantee the reservation at the time of booking. We will proceed to charge the total amount for your stay and any additional services acquired 30 days prior to your arrival.
***Please note that for any reservations made during peak season (Dec 22nd – Jan 06th) we will proceed with the charge of 50% of the total amount due, immediately; this amount is non-refundable. The other 50% will be charged 45 days before your arrival***.
Once the charge has been done any cancellation will have 100% penalty. Rates do not include breakfast and the 13% taxes. All rates are based on single or double occupancy. An extra charge is applied per night for each additional person. $30 + taxes for kids over 12 years old and adults and $15 + taxes for kids between 5 and 11 years old. Kids under 4 years old do not have any additional charges. If you need a crib please request it in advance. The check In is at 3:00pm – check-out time is at 12:00pm.

Arenal Kioro: You may cancel your reservation for no charge based on the following schedule: 30 days before arrival if you stay between January 4th and April 18th 7 days before arrival if you stay between April 19th until June 30th 14 days before arrival if you stay between July 1st and August 31st 7 days before arrival if you stay between September 1st up to October 31st 14 days before arrival if you stay between November 1st and December 19th If, after that period, you cancel for any reason, attempt to modify this reservation, or do not arrive on your specified check-in date, your payment will be non-refundable Christmas (December 20th to January 4th) and Easter (April 4th to April 11th) are Non Refundable periods.

Capitán Suizo: 100% will be reimbursed if the written cancellation note is received by the hotel 60 days before arrival date .80% if the written cancelation note is received 30 days before arrival date .Special policies will apply regarding reservations, guaranties, prepayments, reimbursements and cancellations. 100% will be reimbursed if the written cancellation note is received by the hotel 14 days before arrival date. No reimbursement within 30 days of arrival date. No reimbursement for any prepayment and for any reason for reservations during Festive Season! No-shows are not reimbursable. Nights reserved and not used are not reimbursable.

Alma Del Pacífico: High Season: From January 5 to April 30: 100% penalty for cancellations with 21 days or less. Green Season: From May 1 to December 15: 100% penalty for cancellations of 21 days or less. Peak Season: From December 15 to January 4: 100% penalty for reservations with 45 days or less. Guarantee Policy: 25% of total reservation amount is required at the time of booking. Final payment of the total balance remaining is due 21 days prior to arrival, and 45 days prior to arrival for the holiday period (Holiday Period: December 15, 2018-January 4, 2019 and March 25, 2019-March 31, 2019).

Tango Mar: Green Season (May 01 until Dec. 19 2020/ 2021) Cancellations 3 days or less before the arrival are not refundable. High Season (January 06 to April 30 2020 /2021)7 days or less before the arrival are not refundable. Peak Season (December 20, 2020 to January 05, 2021) Nonrefundable.

Villa Caletas: By confirming the booking process, you authorize Hotel Villa Caletas to charge the full amount of the reservation on the credit card you have provided. Rates do not include applicable taxes (13%).The reservation will be confirmed after the credit card payment is proceeded; the guest will receive a confirmation by the Hotel that must be shown at the check in time. At the check – the credit card the guest provided to proceed the payment must be shown, this due to security reasons. Any special requests must be made by e-mail and are only guaranteed with a written reply. Minimum stay policies only apply during the following period: Holiday Season (Dic 22 – Jan 04): 3 nights. Modifications and Cancellations. Jan 05th to Dec 21st: There will be no refunds for late cancellations or no-shows (29-0 days prior to the guest check-in date).Dec 22nd to Jan 04th: There will be no refunds for late cancellations or no-shows (89-0 days prior to the guest check-in date).There will be no reimbursements for cancellations, unused portion of services, or no-shows. Villa Caletas Hotel & Zephyr Palace are committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information that you have provided, including but not limited to your e-mail address will not be shared with third parties and will be exclusively used in bona fide communications between you and Hotel Villa Caletas & Zephyr Palace.

Gilded Iguana: All reservations must be fully pre-paid. Our cancellation policy is 6 days before arrival (100% refund).For peak season ( Dec 20th to Jan 7th) our cancellation policy is 61 days prior to arrival 100% refund, 60 or Less days 100% charge. There will be no refund for “No Shows”. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Reservations during Peak Season are subject to a minimum length of stay.

Nicuesa Rain Forest: Cancellations received 31 days or more prior to arrival apply a US $100 penalty. Cancellations received 30 to 0 days before guest’s arrival will apply a 100% penalty. No-shows, early departures or unused portions of packages are non-refundable. Tours not taken will not be reimbursed nor exchanged. The above policies also apply to any modifications or night reductions made 30 days or less prior to the arrival date. Cancellations must be received in writing and sent via e-mail to: reservations@nicuesalodge.com, and must be confirmed as received by Playa Nicuesa to be considered valid.

Grano de Oro: Conditions: Hotel Grano de Oro reserves the right to remove any person or guest from the property due to immoral, illegal or disruptive behavior.
Prostitutes and/or unregistered guests are not allowed in hotel rooms.
Please note that Costa Rica is smoke free. By law smoking is not permitted on the hotel premises. Guests who do not respect these policies will kindly be asked to leave with no refund.
